GENERAL QUESTIONS:

What is the Web Designer's Forum (WDF)?
The Web Designer's Forum was founded in 1998 by a group of aspiring Web Professionals all sharing the same goal: helping people to create a better World Wide Web environment. The purpose of this group is to discuss ALL topics of Web design. The WDF is here to offer support to anyone interested in learning more about, but not exclusive to, HTML Techniques, Java, Java Script, CGI (and associated languages), Graphics Techniques, the latest software, and cutting edge technology.
Who can join?
Anyone can join the WDF as long as you have a desire to learn more about proper usage of Web design techniques.
How much does it cost to join?
The WDF is a non-profit educational organization and is FREE to anyone who wishes to join.
Do I have to be a professional to join?
No. We encourage everyone from beginner to seasoned professional to join the WDF and to contribute to the discussions on the mailing list

Do I have to subscribe to the mailing list to become a member?
No. The mailing list is the most beneficial feature of WDF, but you do not have to subscribe to be a WDF member.

How do I join?
To become a member of the WDF, go to the Join page and follow the instructions.
I didn't receive my confirmation e-mail. What do I do?
If for some reason you do not receive the confirmation e-mail after joining WDF, please notify the Administrators and we will look into correcting the problem for you.

MEMBER QUESTIONS:

How do I switch to the digest version of the list?
Log in at Yahoo! Groups, edit your membership, and select "Daily digest" under "Message Delivery".

If you do not want each individual post in your inbox, you will have to unsubscribe from the majordomo list. However, in order to post to the list, you must be subscribed to the majordomo list.

How do I unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe from the mailing list, send the command unsubscribe wdflist to majordomo@wdf.net. Example: How to unsubscribe from a list?

To unsubscribe from the digest, log in to Yahoo! Groups, click the link to edit your membership, and change the "Message Delivery" to "No email".

How do I change my e-mail address?
You will have to unsubscribe the old address and subscribe with the new address.
How do I stop my mail while I am away or on vacation?
We do not have a way to stop mail on majordomo. Therefore, you will have to unsubscribe from the list and subscribe again when you return. To find out what you missed while you were away, browse through our Archives.
How do I update my member profile information?
Use our member profile manager.
How do I change my password?
Use our member password manager.
